Ohio Wesleyan University honored its outstanding 2017-2018 student-athletes at the 14th annual Dale J. Bruce Scholar-Athlete Awards Dinner. The celebration, held April 19, recognized Battling Bishop athletes from Ohio Wesleyan's 23 varsity sports for their academic and athletic successes. Congratulations, Bishops!

Ohio Wesleyan University inducted new members into its Eta Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at a campus ceremony May 11. The new inductees join a national honor society that counts 17 U.S. presidents, 40 Supreme Court justices, and more than 140 Nobel laureates among its members. Nationwide, only 10 percent of all U.S. colleges and universities have Phi Beta Kappa chapters, and each of the 286 chapters selects only 10 percent of their graduates to join annually through a highly selective, merit-based invitation process. Congratuations to all of the inductees!

Wittenberg University's student-run radio station, WUSO 89.1-FM, recently re-established ties with Dayton-based public radio station, WDPR 88.1-FM, through an innovative partnership that promises to enhance its visibility within the Springfield community, diversify its programming and connect students to professional opportunities
Kenneth Driscoll, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication, was accepted into the master's degree program in Communication Studies at BJU.
The Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity Conference, held March 30, is a premier annual event at The University of Alabama that provides students with the opportunity to highlight their research or creative activity. In addition to bringing attention to the outstanding work being done by UA's undergraduates, the conference allows students to gain experience presenting, become eligible for cash prizes, and form relationships with faculty mentors and fellow conference presenters. University of Dayton students organized the 53rd annual Christmas on Campus, which brought more than 1,000 public schoolchildren to campus for an evening of crafts, treats and pictures with Santa.

Incoming members of the freshman class at Bob Jones University participated in summer orientation June 21-22. Students and their parents attended informational sessions about the BJU experience, asked questions regarding academics, financial aid and student life and became familiar with the campus. Students were also able to receive academic and career counsel from faculty and register for their fall classes.
